I’ve been shopping like mad this month. First, I finally got
my Tarte’s full coverage foundation set in the mail. If you checked out my
previous deal alert post, you would know that Sephora had this set in all
shades, but the lighter shades were sold out in about two days. Fortunately, I
was able to get my hands on it before it was gone.
I tried this foundation only on my hand, and it felt weird.
It’s not like a typical liquid foundation. Instead, the consistence is more
like a primer, but the coverage is pretty good. Onto the brush, it is very soft
and works very nicely with the foundation.
I wanted the blush in tipsy from day one, but always talked myself out of it. Now, I’m so glad that I have it eventually. The bright orange coral is very pretty and I don’t have anything like it.
I picked the pink sugar sensual perfume from Costco, two 3.4oz bottles for 46 dollars. It smells wonderful, sweet but not overly sweet.
I am looking for a new shampoo, so I picked this set to
try out. I believe they are organic.
I really like the Maybelline one a lot. It covers well for me,
and is not drying on me. Not so crazy about the Revlon one, the coverage is ok,
but it tends to give dry patches on me.
The lip butter is moisturizing as far as lipsticks go, but
the color payoff is not so good in my opinion. It might have something to do
with the shade I chose, but I don’t think I will buy another one.
The tattoo eye shadow is very impressive. It lasts a long
time and blends well.
Nice haul! I wish I could buy the new Tarte foundation, but I have to learn to first finish what I have.
ReplyDeleteI wanted to pick up the Tarte deal you posted, but I wanted to see what you thought. It really is a good deal! I love my Tarte clay blushes too! The pigmentation is great and my favorite color is babydoll
ReplyDeleteI should have bought it, but I can not resist the deal.
ReplyDeleteI tried it for the first today, and unfortunately I don't like it. But I will try other ways to apply it to see whether I like it or not. I just feel that it is too drying for me.
