My Perfume Collection

Perfume is definitely one of my weaknesses and I’m always looking for a new one.
I keep all my perfumes in the mirror tray on the top of my dresser and I really love the set up. I found the mirror tray at Marshalls for about 15 dollars.
Just name a few my favorites.
Lovestruck by Vera Wang is my most recent purchase. I was first attracted by the adorable packaging which is always nice to have. It smells floral and very feminine.

I love light blue by Dolce&Gabbana a lot and it is a very nice everyday scent. It smells fruity and fresh to me. It’s definitely not a tropical fruity scent, but very soothing.

The Katy Perry Purr is also my love and the packaging is right up my alley. I find myself constantly sniffing my wrists when I wear it, but if you don't like sweet scent, you might not like it.

NOTD: China Glaze – Re-fresh Mint

Today’s NOTD is re-fresh mint by China Glaze, a light minty green.
two coats, natural light
It looks a little bit streaky with one coat and two coats are enough for complete opacity. I’ve been wearing this polish for the past two manicures which says how much I love it.
Do you love it?

TAG!! are you tagged?

I've been tagged by Clare at C-A-T Make-up and Beauty. I'm always very interested in doing tags and thanks Clare for tagging me.

First I have to answer 11 questions given by Clare and then create 11 questions and tag 11 bloggers, making sure you let them know they have been tagged! They then answer my questions, create their own and tag 11 people to keep the chain going :) So here is the questions I have been asked...
1.Why did you begin blogging?
I simply wanted to share my thoughts with all makeup junkies.
 2. What is your favourite Drug Store cosmetic brand?
NYX. I love the jumbo pencils and blushes by NYX.
3. What is your favourite High End cosmetic brand?
Tarte. I adore the eyeliners and 12 hour blushes. Moreover, it is a natural brand.
4. What is your favourite Clothing Shop?
Forever 21.
5. Where are you from?
I’m from China and now a graduate student in US.
6. Which Country would you most like to visit?
Iceland. I watched a travel show when I was young and it has always been the place I want to visit.

8. How old are you?
26.
9. What your dream job be?
I decide to go wild on this question, so F1 racer it is.
10. What is your favourite genre of music?
I love Selena Gomez's music, so pop I guess.
11. What TV programme is your guilty pleasure?
Hmm. I don’t have any simply because I’ve never felt guilty of watching. In general, shopping for makeup products is my guilty pleasure.

And I tag

If you have been tagged, answer my questions below, and then repeat all the steps above by tagging 11 people and making your questions.
Here are my questions.

What’s in My UNII Palette?

I finally depot my Urban Decay book of shadow IV. I was choosing between UNII palette and Z palette and I thought the UNII palette was more durable. I like the fact that the Z palette has a clear cover, but I’d prefer a huge mirror.
The colors I have are lavender and crystal.
I have all the neutral shades in the lavender one and the rest in the other one. I should have placed the neutrals in the crystal to color match, but I love the lavender color so much that I’d rather use it every day.

The palette is already magnetized which means metal pans can stick to it without extra magnet sheet. It is very thoughtful of the company to include a magnet sheet in case that some pans are made of aluminum.
For size reference, I place it together with the NARS Laguna bronzor and the naked palette.

A quick tip! I cut the name from the original palette and tape it to the corresponding eye shadow, so I know exactly what shade I am using if I want to.

Is the UNII palette worth the money?
In my opinion, it is. I spend quite some money on palettes and I really wish to get more uses out of them, but bulky packaging stops me from doing so. Now with the UNII palette I can depot whatever shade I like and use it daily. Besides, I can see myself traveling with the UNII palettes. They are sturdy with hard plastic. On the top of that, they are cute!

Stila – Love at First Blush Palette

I won this palette in the giveaway at Jeweled Thumb. I would like to take a moment to thank Ivy for holding the giveaway and sending me so many lovely samples which I was not expecting.
As soon as I received the palette, I regretted not getting the Make Me Blush palette from last year. I actually saw the Make Me Blush palette on Hautelook a few weeks back, but it was sold out before I had a chance to add one to cart. Hopefully they will bring it back and by that time I will be done with Project 100 Pan.
The adorable heart design just takes my breath away. If you like Physicians Formula Happy Booster Blush, you will like the Stila one even more. The palette is divided into three sections which I prefer over Happy Booster Blushes, so you can either use each one separately or swirl them all together.
top, middle, bottom, swirled together
The lightest shimmery pink is quite sheer, but it works as a natural highlighter for me.
The middle part is a matte baby pink which reminds me quite a lot of the MAC blush in Well Dressed.
The hot pink with gold shimmer is the most pigmented of all three. When swirled all together, it gives a beautiful flush color on cheeks.
