The packaging of the Jurlique items is really simple and cute which I
like a lot. The foggy glass containers are my favorites. As to the products themselves,
I’m not so impressed. I really appreciate that the products are formulated
without parabens, sulfates and so on, but I still believe the products by the
brand in general are overpriced.
Balancing Foaming Cleanser
I don’t find it cleanses extremely well and I would say it is
about average. It lathers well, but the herbal scent is not my favorite.
Rosewater Balancing Mist
The mist is the only item I might consider repurchasing. I
usually don’t care for heavily scented skincare products, but the rose smell is
really nice. Personally I think toners play an important role in the skincare
routine in a sense that they prepare the skin for the following steps. Aside
from the scent, the mist is rather fine which can be also used as a refreshing
spray. The only downside I find is that it burns my eyes when I accidentally
spray it too much around my eye area.
Again I like the container, but don’t care for the scent at
all. I just don’t find it does anything to my skin.
Balancing Day Care Cream
For my dry/combination
skin, it does keep the oil at bay without drying out the skin, but I just hate
the smell.
I've been wanting to try the Rose Balancing Spray. I love refreshing mists and usually use the Evian one.
ReplyDeleteAs much as I like the toner, I still can not justify spending 31 dollars on it.
