NOTD: Butter London – The Black Knight

I was not too fond of glitter nail polishes before, but this shade totally changed my mind.
two coats, natural light
It has a black jelly base full with silver, red, blue and pink glitter. It is perfectly opaque in two coats and dries up pretty fast.
two coats, natural light
I have so many nail polishes, but I find myself reaching for it all the time.

L’oreal – 310 Versailles Romance

Today’s NOTD is Versailles Romance by L’oreal, a peachy color.
natural light, three coats
I heard so many good things about this new, well rather new to me, nail polish line by L’oreal and picked up one a while back. It is a lovely shade, but the consistence is not that good. It takes three coats to get opacity which is kind of a bummer to me. Personally I would prefer those nail polishes with thicker consistence, so I don’t think I will be getting another shade from this line.
How do you like the nail polish?

NOTD: China Glaze – Re-fresh Mint

Today’s NOTD is re-fresh mint by China Glaze, a light minty green.
two coats, natural light
It looks a little bit streaky with one coat and two coats are enough for complete opacity. I’ve been wearing this polish for the past two manicures which says how much I love it.

NOTD: Sally Hansen Hard as Nails – 470 Bubblegum Pink

Let me admit it. I have an obsession! I’ve been buying Sally Hansen nail polishes like no other. They are inexpensive and the quality is amazing.
two coats, natural light
They’ve made my life so much easier because I’m very bad at describing colors and the shades are exact the same as the nail polish names.
It has silver shimmer, but there is no way to tell once on the nails.

NOTD: OPI – Pink Friday

Today’s NOTD is Pink Friday by OPI from the new Nicki Minaj collection. This is the only shade I picked up from the collection because I was not attracted by the other colors.
two coats, natural light
It is a light pink. To be frank, I was a little bit hesitated to buy this polish since pinky crème polishes tend to be quite streaky, but this is absolutely an exception. The application is so easy and it is perfectly opaque in two coats. I do have similar colors, but for some reasons I just love it so much more.

NOTD: ZOYA – Julieanne

After wearing bright colors for a week, I’m really in the winter mood, so I decide to paint my nails with Julieanne by ZOYA. It is has a dark blue base and full of purple shimmer.
two coats, natural light
The picture does not do it justice at all. If you have a chance, definitely check it out in store. When I was browsing the nail polish rack at Ulta, it was calling my name and I knew I had to take it home.
The application is very nice and it takes two coats for opacity.

Sally Hansen Hard as Nails – 445 Violet Voltage

Today’s NOTD is another polish from Sally Hansen, Violet Voltage. As the name implies, it is a bright violet color.
If you look closer at the bottle, there is a pearl finish. But on nails, it is straight up a crème. The quality is very good as well, but it does take a while to dry without a dry fast top coat.

NOTD: Sally Hansen Hard as Nails – 405 Coral Reef

Today’s NOTD is a gorgeous coral shade from Sally Hansen, Coral Reef.
two coats, natural light
I was doing grocery shopping the other day and this polish just caught my eyes. It was in a separate display, so I thought it was a new shade. I’ve been neglecting drugstore nail polishes for a while, but this is definitely a keeper. The consistence is more on the thick side which I like and the application is very nice. On the top of that, it is about 3 dollars and you can not beat it.
The color payoff is so good that you can definitely get away with one coat.

NOTD: Sephora by OPI - Break a Leg-Warmer

I did not think too high of this polish when I first got the glimmer wonderland collection, but I really like it on my nails.
one coat, natural light
It is not just a dark grey shade, but also has a little bit of green undertone to it. I’m so glad that I tried it on and I do feel attached. It is very opaque and the result of one coat looks pretty good.

NOTD: Revlon – Silver Screen

Today’s NOTD is Revlon’s Silver Screen, a silver foil.

I acquired it a while back only because it was on sale. It has a little greyish tone which I do like. It goes on quite opaque and smooth.

NOTD: Sephora by OPI - Natural Environ-mint

Today’s NOTD is Natural Environ-mint from Sephora by OPI, a light blue cream shade.
natural light, two coats
It looks pretty in the bottle, but not so much on my nails. I think it’s only personal preference and I am not really into this kind of shade in general.

NOTD: China Glaze – Go Go Pink

Today’s NOTD is Go Go Pink by China Glaze, the perfect pink color.
two coats, natural light

One coat is a little bit streaky, but going over with a second coat is enough for opacity.  This shade is well loved and half of the bottle is already gone. Even though I have a good amount of polishes, it already makes its way into the top three list with ease.

NOTD: Sephora by OPI - How Cute is That?

As the name suggests, this pinky coral nail polish is so cute that I can see myself wearing every day in spring and summer. It has refined gold shimmer which adds more dimensions to the nail polish.
natural light, two coats
As always, it applies smooth and opaque in two coats.

NOTD: Sephora by OPI -- It’s Hippo to be Square

Today’s NOTD is It’s Hippo to be Square, a lilac creme. At first, I thought it was the same as China Glaze’s Light as Air, but it is definitely darker which makes it quite unique.
two coats, natural light
It is very opaque and one thick coat is enough for full coverage, but I always like adding a second coat.

NOTD: Sephora by OPI- Metro Chic

Today’s NOTD is another nail polish from Sephora by OPI, Metro Chic, a purple taupe color.
This kind of shade is quite popular recently, but I am not really into it that much. This polish actually reminds me quite a lot of Rimmel’s Steel Grey, also a muddy purple shade. It appears to be a really good everyday color in fall/winter, but I still prefer my darker shades better.

NOTD: Sephora by OPI- Call Your Mother

This is my very first nail polish from Sephora by OPI. It is a purple shade with a hint of grey.
natural light, 2 coats

I loved it quite a lot when I first got it. But I’ve neglected it for a long time because I have some many other polishes and I just forget about it. These days, I just don’t like it as before and wish it would be more on the grey side.

NOTD : Sephora by OPI -- Fiercely Fabulous

Today’s NOTD is Fiercely Fabulous, a classic red.
two coats, natural light
I wore pink, nude polishes quite a lot and never thought I would be so into reds.  It is super pigmented and one coat is enough for a solid color. But I found it difficult to remove and it left red residue behind.
I am a little bit hesitated to wear it again, but I will definitely try something similar(of course after I’m done with project 10 pan).

NOTD: Sephora by OPI – Just a Little Dangerous

Today’s NOTD is Just a Little Dangerous, another polish from Sephora by OPI. This dark purple is so far my favorite from the glimmer wonderland set. I did not think too high of it, but it’s definitely a pleasant surprise.

two coats, natural light

I love purple in general, and this one is gorgeous. Two coats are sufficient for opacity. The shimmer is a touch lighter than the base which makes the polish even prettier.

NOTD: Sephora by OPI – Sample Sale

Sample Sale is a very festive shade, and I think it is perfect for holiday season. It has a red base full with very fine shimmers.

The shimmers are so fine that you can barely tell. It is perfectly opaque with two coats. I have worn this for three days consecutively which is quite a lot for me since I always repaint my nails every other day.

NOTD: Sephora by OPI – Dear Diary

Today’s NOTD is Dear Diary from Sephora by OPI, a milky baby pink cream shade.
3 coats, natural light
I like this color a lot, but the consistence is just awful. It is very streaky, and demands at least 3 coats for a solid color. As much as I love the shade, I still regret purchasing the full size bottle because at $9.5, I would expect much better quality.
