Haul: Wen Hair Products

I know it might not be the most appropriate time to do the haul post, but I’ve been out of everyday shampoos and using the deep clarifying shampoo instead for the past few days which I usually use once a week to get off all the build-up.

I ordered the 30-day supply set from the official website. There are five products.

Beauty Haul

I finally got the Urban Decay book of shadow IV which I originally was not that interested about but turns out to be quite satisfying. After the coupon ‘SEVENTEEN11’, it was 29 dollars which was a good deal. The liquid eyeliner included alone is 19 dollars. The color combination is very good in my opinion. There are quite a few natural shadows in conjunction with some brighter shades.

 I don’t care for the packaging though and I really want to depot all the shadows. The butterflies are cute, but I’d rather have a sleek palette.This palette is even bulkier than the Too Faced dream palette.

Collective Haul (Sephora & Drugstore)

I’ve been shopping like mad this month. First, I finally got my Tarte’s full coverage foundation set in the mail. If you checked out my previous deal alert post, you would know that Sephora had this set in all shades, but the lighter shades were sold out in about two days. Fortunately, I was able to get my hands on it before it was gone.

I tried this foundation only on my hand, and it felt weird. It’s not like a typical liquid foundation. Instead, the consistence is more like a primer, but the coverage is pretty good. Onto the brush, it is very soft and works very nicely with the foundation.

I wanted the blush in tipsy from day one, but always talked myself out of it. Now, I’m so glad that I have it eventually. The bright orange coral is very pretty and I don’t have anything like it.

Haul: Candles by Victoria

I placed my order on Jan 1^st, and received yesterday. So far it’s my most satisfying order. As much as I love candles by Bath and Body Works, I still prefer her candles much more. The scents are so much stronger and last longer. The most amazing thing about her candles is the texture. If you rub the top of the candles, you can feel that they are literally melting.

I was just curious about Origins’s skincare and decided to give it a shot.

I wanted this leopard palette for a while, mainly for the pretty looks. To be honest, I don’t like it as much as I thought I would. It is really nice to keep in the collection, but not really that practical for me.  

Birthday Gifts/Haul

Happy birthday to myself! I just turned 24 for the third time. These items are on my wish list for a while and I feel really grateful to actually have them. Yes, I’m still on project pan if you are wondering. Since it is my birthday, it is OK to make an exemption I think. Besides, most of them are presents from friends and family.

bareMinerals – READY Eyeshadow 8.0 in The Cocktail Hour

This was on the top of my list. I’m so glad to have it. I think it is quite expensive for 8 shadows, but the quality is amazing. The other limited edition one called The Playlist is also quite attempting which I might pick up eventually. 

Too Faced – Sweet Dream Makeup Collection

I love it especially the cheek products in the second drawer. The packing is gorgeous but not travel friendly. 

The Allure Beauty Box

I was going to do my December Birchbox post until my allure beauty box arrived. Seriously, you can not imagine how excited I am. I have not purchased anything for about two months now, because I’m on project pan. This is a part of my birthday gifts which is definitely not cheating in my opinion.

It is a $250 value for $29.99 plus tax and shipping is $10 I believe. I’m not sure whether it is still available or not, but the link I ordered through is allureaccess.com/holiday. 
I will feel very bad if you can not get it any more, but next time I will definitely post a deal alert before I actually get the package.

Sephora Haul (Friends & Family Sale)

I just got my packages from Sephora. This is only a haul post, and I have not tried anything yet. Of course I will review products later when I get more uses out of them.

Haul : Bath & Body Works

First, I got five anti-bacterial hand gels. They all smell amazing and my favorite is creamy pumpkin.

 Also, I picked some shower gels and lotions. I loved the black raspberry vanilla scent so much that I got everything except the body splash.
